As soon as I came to Lipscomb my freshman year, I began meeting all of these incredible women—ones that were full of life, fun, and ones I knew I wanted influencing me for the next four years. I soon realized there was this common thread tying them all together—Delta Omega.

 

The motto of our club is six simple words: servant hearts, powerful minds, loving souls. These six words have come to mean so much to me, and it has been an incredibly humbling experience to watch as each one of these incredible women exemplifies these characteristics in their everyday life. These people are the people that have held me when I was broken, celebrated the victories with me, and continuously pushed me to walk closer to the Lord.

One of the things that my mom always tells me is that God will always provide community when we are looking for it. And wow, God did provide the community He knew I needed throughout my college experience. These people are my sisters, my people, and I hope you come and see the ways that they can be your people, too!
